After a COVID-related absence of three years, we are finally back! From Friday, June 23 until Sunday, June 25 the notorious Groningen Floorball Open will be organized.

Arrival is possible from Friday evening and matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday. 

The maximum amount of teams in the male category is 16, the maximum amount of teams in the female category is set at 8. Every team can expect to play around 4-6 games on Saturday, and 2-3 games on Sunday. The games are played on a big field, so a team needs at least 5 players and a goalkeeper to participate.

Where to sleep

Accommodation will be available on Friday- and Saturday night in the sports hall where the tournament will take place. When the hall is empty, players will have the opportunity to place their sleeping equipment in a spot on the floor. Of course it’s also possible to find accommodation yourself.

Costs

The cost per team is €250 and will include all the costs for the tournament and two overnight stays. This is excluding foods or drinks. We are currently looking at options to arrange a BBQ on Saturday and/or breakfast and lunch for Saturday and Sunday. We will e-mail the team captains when we have more information.

Directions

The primary location of the tournament is the ACLO Sportcenter where matches will be played and where people can sleep.
